Trim Tabs

June 11, 2015 / Brendon Grieve / Boating News, Maintenance Tips, Trim Tabs

A customer just passed on a great tip.

Remember to retract your trim tabs before you leave your vessel unattended for long periods.

This will ensure the hydraulic/electric rams do not get fouled to the point of failing to function next time you head out on the water.

If they get stuck in the down position, then there is a chance your vessel may be hard to handle in certain conditions.
