In 2016, the Club Marine Splash will aim to fundraise $130,000 to purchase two Variety Sunshine Coaches. These buses give the gift of inclusion, participation and self-confidence to children living with disability or disadvantage. It can be especially hard for these young people to get out and about in the community, so Variety provides a fleet of special purpose Sunshine Coaches for use by education support schools, regional schools and other community groups right across the state, providing much needed weekly transport to school, classroom excursions, outreach programs, social events and more. Each Variety Sunshine Coach is purchased to meet the needs of the children, including many buses with hydraulic wheelchair lifts, and range in size from 12 – 21 seaters.
