Sea Ray 355 Sundancer - Joystick controls - a rare find!

I am amazed at just how many of the Sea Ray 355's have been sold into WA over the last fifteen years. They keep popping up on the market, all delivered in the mid to late 2000's.

When you look at the features Sea Ray pack into these luxury boats you can see clearly why they have such a following. Standard with AC generators powering airconditioning, a fully complimented galley with stove and microwave, plus and outside wetbar with electric BBQ.

'Pura Vida' is the only 355 Sea Ray of this generation I have come across fitted with the Axius Joystick manoeuvring system. Effectively it is very similar to the IPS Pod Drives many of you are now so familiar with common on late model Rivieras, only this vessel is fitted to petrol stern drives. The technology just keeps on getting better doesn't it. For those of you not so familiar, basically if you are a novice driver you can berth the boat without even getting off your seat - see the video link for a demonstration. Just the one lever to operate both engines, gears and RPM.... Very simple.

The outdorr rear entertaining area features U-shaped seating. This splils out to an integrated swim platform with a stainless steel safety rail which has been mounted on the rear making the area more user friendly and versatile - something to hang onto while boarding from a tender or lean on while fishing. Weaver Snap davits provide a lifting pivot point for the tender where she can be stored out of the way and when underway gong from A to B at speed.

Access to the foredeck is either down the sides or through an opening in the front windscreen for safer access.

A sliding door separated the main cabin from the outside world. A couple of steps takles you down into the galley, bathroom and accommodation. Apart from sleeping and preparing food, most of your time will be spent up on deck when the vieew is sensational!

Accommodation includes a double berth in the bow, plus there is another smaller midship double and a single berth to starboard opposite the saloon.

She was last antifouled September 2024, transom assemblies replaced in June 2023 and all exhaust manifolds and elbows were replaced in 2022. With all of these big ticket items addressed, she's ready to go to enjoy the best of the boating season - autunm!
